Development of a Movie Streaming Service Started with the Design Phase

This is not our first project for the “Lumpen” agency, so we were already familiar with the client's preferences and were able to agree on the design with minimal revisions. It was important to create a simple and user-friendly service, with the main goal being to launch the long-awaited film by Avdotya Alexandrovna, "Cold". Of course, we immediately planned for the scalability of the project, so that it could evolve into not just a movie streaming site, but a platform for new, talented filmmakers.

Developing our own video player for streaming movies is a complex and time-consuming task. To speed up the process and reduce the labor costs, we researched available third-party services and selected the most optimal one. The key factors in our selection were: the ability to track the number of users and views, prevent multiple viewers from using a single “ticket,” the option to set time-limited access to a film, and providing multiple payment options.

As a result, we were able to quickly create a movie streaming website and launch the first film without delay. Thanks to the integrated analytics, we were able to monitor the success of the project, and together with the client, we were pleased with the results achieved.
